Rural Aid
Rural Aid is Australia’s most trusted rural charity. Established in 2015, Rural Aid’s vision is to safeguard farming and rural communities before, during and after natural disasters. They stand ready to support farmers when disaster strikes and to offer the help needed at the time.
Rural Aid is also dedicated to supporting a stable future for our farmers to ensure they can keep providing food and fibre for all Australians.
Lilydale Community House
Lilydale Community House is a not-for-profit and registered charity. We provide a welcoming and inclusive place for the local community to access affordable activities, events and find social connection.
Pyjama Foundation
The Pyjama Foundation provide children and young people in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives with learning, life skills and confidence.
Through their Love of Learning program, volunteers called 'Pyjama Angels' are recruited, screened, trained and then matched with a child in care and spend time with them once a week, focusing on learning-based activities. Pyjama Angels read books aloud with their child, play educational games and help children with their homework.
Most importantly, the volunteers give foster children a chance to reach their life potential, despite a fragile start.
