Coffee with a Veteran at Lilydale Marketplace

Taking place on Thursday 5 November from 10am to 11am, this free community event offers an opportunity to meet local veterans, share a coffee and take a moment to reflect on the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country.

Whether you’d like to learn more about their experiences, ask a question, or simply enjoy a friendly conversation, everyone is welcome. It’s a chance to connect with members of our community, hear their stories and show your support ahead of Remembrance Day.

Visitors can present a Coffee with a Veteran voucher at Monty’s Café during the event to receive a complimentary regular hot drink while chatting with participating veterans.
Poppy pins will also be available for purchase on the day, with funds supporting the RSL’s annual Poppy Appeal and the important work it does for veterans and their families.
